Once again, it's that time of year where bloggers all over the world attempt to post every day in October. It's a great way to find new blogs and attempt to write a post every day. Blogtoberfest is challenging, but fun. The delightful logo was designed by Curly Pops and Kat from I Saw You Dancing is hosting the festivities this year. Hop on over if you want to join in the fun. I started doing Blogtoberfest in 2009 and actually succeeded in 2010 and 2011. I'll attempt to be interesting or just my plain crazy self all month long. There might even be a giveaway or two. If you have any ideas for content, let me know. I'll research anything! My Google search button has seen some weird stuff.
This Scrappy Stash Quilt-Along sounds like fun. It starts October 9 and I have all my scraps sorted by color. Scrap quilts have always been my favorite. I started a new project yesterday, but you can never have too many projects going.
Sunday morning frittata. Tomato, feta, scallion, and ham. I have to explain to Inspector Gadget what a frittata is every time I make one. Quiche without crust.
I also baked some ciabatta which turned out pretty good. We dipped slices in olive oil and spices and ate it with pesto pasta for dinner. Hollywood's little charge ate with us again. She's trying to expand his toddler diet of macaroni and cheese and hot dogs. I had fun food styling grapes and raspberries for him and he ate every bit. He ate every bit of the pasta too and asked for more. I was a little worried.
Two more potholders for our guild's charity project. We're making household items for Habitat for Humanity. I should have made myself a set, my potholders are a mess. I'm tough on them.
Good luck with Blogtoberfest. I love reading your blog so am happy when October rolls around ;-) We had frittata for dinner here the other night. It is usually served at my house when I forget to stock up the fridge and only have a few ingredients to work with. Need to check out the latest quilt a long. Sure looks interesting.
