Sunday Stash #45
Some fun ones! And even better, all on sale! Or free! Whatever shall I make? I'm sure I'll think of something. Our guild meeting at The Sewing Studio is Wednesday, so I bet I'll find some more must-haves. I need a set of blinders in that store.
Inspector Gadget's birthday pie. Granny Smith apples, one Bosc pear and an oatmeal crumble topping. I was car-less, so I made it up with stuff I had on hand. Almost put blueberries and strawberries in it too, but I thought that might be overkill. I've been in a fruit buying mood lately. He loved it. Good thing, since he has to eat it all!
I made "the baby" (anyone remember that Seinfeld episode?) a headband with interchangeable gigantic flowers. I miss that show.
I bound a few minis too. That paper pieced flying geese mini has been hanging around forever. It really needs more quilting, but I'm happy to have it done. Those little triangles are 1-5/8" x 7/8".
I thought this was hilarious, Eleanor Burns' scraps. You know, the stuff she tosses over her shoulder? I learned quite a few tips and tricks from Eleanor when I first started quilting. She cracks me up. I thought they would be useable scraps, but I guess the real idea is that you get Eleanor's autograph. You know how stuff looks different on a web site. I should have know since they were only two cents a bag! Nice to have have her autograph though.
