And I bet you thought I'd never buy fabric again after two Sundays with no stash. Ha! I more than made up for it with Fabric.com's big sale and Cherrywood's two-for-one scrap bag deal. I just love these novelty prints. The little foxes are really cute. And the big fish eating the little fish cracks me up.
Kaffe Fassett and Brandon Mably love. Those two dudes have the coolest fabrics.
More fun prints. I really love that yellow in the center. I always need yellows.
Six inch strips by Kaffe Fassett. It's called "Smolder," which I thought was funny. Smoky colors?
Squares and spots, because who can resist geometrics?
My first look and feel at Cherrywood solids. These hand dyed fabrics have a suede-like texture. The colors are rich and wonderful. Grab bags were buy one get one free. I cannot wait to play with these. Merry Christmas to me!
Ha! I'd say you did more than make up for two "dry" weeks ;-) You collect the most awesome novelty fabric...such fun!! And seeing your Kaffe reminded me that somewhere I have a fat quarter or half yard of the "pencil" print. I am currently working on two Kaffe heavy quilts...I need to dig through my stash and find them!!
ReplyDeleteI love Cherrywood so much. the feel is remarkable and it kinda glows. and nice weight. I almost bought a grab bag but I resisted since I have two or thing I have barely touched yet. I did get some of the white though.
ReplyDeleteExcellent choices! Love those yellows with that deeper burgandy purples shown next to each other. No excuses need with all the sales going on now either. I just received 33 yards from some Black Friday through Monday sales. Great prices too!
