Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative

Three little miniature quilts 9" x 12" and under for the AAQI (Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative). If you haven't heard of this organization, you can find more information right here. Making these little quilts is a great way to use up scraps, practice crumb piecing, applique and paper piecing. I also did single fold binding on all three. It's always fun to learn something new.

Now to name them. Any suggestions would be VERY welcome!

  1. Beautiful quilts!!!
I am working on my third one now, trying to get them done by end of ths month.
I love the way AAQI donation works! It is like I can donate more ammount of money than it costs as an expense for making quilts when they are sold.

  5. I love them all. AAQI is such an amazing thing--and getting results too! My Mom has dementia, probably Alzheimer's, so I am especially grateful for your efforts. Shamefully, I have yet to make one myself. When I do, I would like you to tell me where you got the AAQI button on your sidebar.
    Great work!
